FREQUENTLY
ASKED.

Can't find what you need? Email us at info@bladebasketball.com

Do you hold tryouts?+

No. BLADE does not hold official tryouts. Registration is open to any child wanting to join. After registration, evaluation practices are used to place players on the right roster based on skill level — ensuring the best development environment for everyone.

What's the difference between developmental and elite teams?+

Developmental teams focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and building a love of the game — ideal for players just starting out or still growing. Elite/competitive teams train harder, travel to tournaments, and are designed for players ready to compete at a higher level. Coaches place players after an evaluation practice.

What ages and grades do you accept?+

Blade serves players aged 7–18 across all programs, boys and girls. Year-round teams are structured around grades 2nd through 8th. Skills training and camps are open to all ages in that range regardless of team membership.

Where do practices and games take place?+

Team practices are held Wednesday nights at Lakewood Presbyterian Church in Dallas. Games are played at local venues including Sportsplex and FieldhouseUSA — conveniently located for DFW families.

What does it cost to join?+

Developmental team seasons range from $425–$775 depending on season and grade. Elite team pricing is $550–$750 depending on season. Summer 2026 registration is $425–$475 (depending on grade). Add-ons including uniforms and skills pass are available. Contact us for full details.

How do I hear about upcoming camps?+

Camps are announced seasonally. Email us at info@bladebasketball.com to be added to our notification list, or follow us on social media. You can also check the site — we update camp listings as dates are confirmed.
