East Dallas club basketball — serving kids across the DFW Metroplex since 2012. Developmental & competitive teams, skills training, and seasonal camps.
Blade Basketball is an East Dallas club basketball program developing youth players from beginner to elite. We run competitive developmental and travel teams, weekly skills training, and seasonal camps — all in a high-energy, community-first environment.
Sound fundamentals and high basketball IQ overcome any physical shortcoming. We develop complete players at every level — not just athletes.

SandersFit Performance Center is a 12,000 sq ft state-of-the-art training facility located in Downtown Dallas — the home of hundreds of athletes from youth players to pros competing at the highest levels across the world.
Unlike a commercial gym, SandersFit is a focused performance environment with a select team of highly qualified, certified specialists. Every program is intentional, structured, and built around results.
A product of Oklahoma State University — where he earned Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, All-Academic Big 12, and Men's Athlete of the Year honors — Melvin Sanders went on to play 11 years of professional basketball, including two years with the San Antonio Spurs under Hall of Fame coach Gregg Popovich.
His career took him across 7 countries — Belgium, Italy, Russia, Lebanon, Turkey, Greece, and Spain — giving him a globally diverse understanding of athlete development. After his playing days, he served as a strength & conditioning coach for the San Antonio Spurs NBA Summer League before founding SandersFit.
SandersFit isn't one trainer with a whistle. Melvin leads a full staff of performance specialists — including Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialists (CSCS) and Doctors of Physical Therapy — who work together to build complete athletes.
CSCS-certified trainers building explosive power, speed, and athletic durability.
Sport-specific movement coaches focused on footwork, first-step quickness, and court awareness.
Doctors of Physical Therapy on staff — bridging the gap between rehab and elite performance.
Cryotherapy, red light therapy, and Normatec compression — the recovery tools the pros rely on.
For a player who goes all in — here's what a complete development week looks like when you combine everything Blade has to offer.
Schedule varies by season. Not all sessions are required — players can participate in as much or as little as fits their schedule.

No. BLADE does not hold official tryouts. Registration is open to any child wanting to join. After registration, evaluation practices are used to place players on the right roster based on skill level — ensuring the best development environment for everyone.
Developmental teams focus on fundamentals, teamwork, and building a love of the game — ideal for players just starting out or still growing. Elite/competitive teams train harder, travel to tournaments, and are designed for players ready to compete at a higher level. Coaches place players after an evaluation practice.
Blade serves players aged 7–18 across all programs, boys and girls. Year-round teams are structured around grades 2nd through 8th. Skills training and camps are open to all ages in that range regardless of team membership.
Team practices are held Wednesday nights at Lakewood Presbyterian Church in Dallas. Games are played at local venues including Sportsplex and FieldhouseUSA — conveniently located for DFW families.
Developmental team seasons range from $425–$775 depending on season and grade. Elite team pricing is $550–$750 depending on season. Summer 2026 registration is $425–$475 (depending on grade). Add-ons including uniforms and skills pass are available. Contact us for full details.
